Online Exhibition

Our online exhibition provides a virtual space where visitors can explore the various graphic design projects designed by our talented graduates. From branding and typography to digital illustration and web design – Department 24 features a curated selection of work that reflects the dedication, skill, and vision of our designers. 

Manifest Showcase

Department 24 will proudly participate in the Manifest Urban Arts Festival. This annual event, this year held on May 10, will transform the Hokin Gallery into a lively epicenter of creativity. Here, visitors can experience the beauty and impact of graphic design firsthand, as our designers' work comes to life in a physical setting. 

Publication

As part of our commitment to honoring the achievements of our graduating designers, Department 24 produces a physical publication showcasing their work. This publication serves as a lasting tribute to their talent and dedication and will be available for pickup at the exhibition in the Hokin Gallery on May 10. 

FAQs

  • All Graphic Design seniors at Columbia College Chicago are eligible to participate in our end-of-year Manifest showcase. You should have also received an email from the Art Design Department regarding your eligibility.

  • All digital submissions must be turned in on the Department 24 Canvas page. Physical submissions can be turned in and installed at the Hokin Gallery during install days. Dates and Google Drop-off form will be posted here soon.

  • Choose three to five projects that are your best work! Include 1-6 images per project. Each file should be 300 PPI at its actual size, and files should be no smaller than 6 MB. MP4 files are accepted for digital display in the exhibition. Further details are on the Department 24 Canvas page.

  • This year’s Graphic Design showcase will be held in the Hokin Gallery inside the 623 S Wabash building on May 10, 2024. Time to be determined.

  • Yes. Students can install shelving and possibly utilize small tables in their grid space. Please email the design team to confirm installation proposals.

  • The deadline to join the Department 24 Canvas page is March 1, 2024, at the end of the day. This is to ensure we have a good head count of those represented in the showcase, website, and publication.
